Yes. Family Mode turns HayatTime into real parental controls on your child's iPhone or iPad, using Apple's Family Sharing. You set it up on your child's device, approve it with your own Apple Account and create a parent PIN. Salah Mode, Downtime, Screen Limit, App Limits and Guard My Gaze can then only be changed with that PIN, and your child can't delete the app. Settings are managed on the child's device with your PIN - there is no remote dashboard on the parent's phone yet.

To add a prayer time widget on iPhone: 1) Install HayatTime and open it once so it can calculate your prayer times. 2) Touch and hold an empty area of your home screen until the apps jiggle. 3) Tap the + button in the top left corner. 4) Search for HayatTime. 5) Swipe to choose a widget size - small shows the next prayer and its countdown, medium shows all five daily prayers. 6) Tap Add Widget, then Done. For a Lock Screen widget, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customise, tap the area under the clock, and select HayatTime. The widget updates automatically as each prayer time passes.

Yes. HayatTime blocks distracting apps automatically during salah using Apple's Screen Time framework. You choose which apps to block once - Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, games - and HayatTime shields them for the duration of each prayer window. Instead of the app opening, a full screen appears with a Quranic verse or dua. Because it uses Apple Screen Time, the block cannot simply be swiped away, and it works even if you delete and reinstall the blocked app.

Yes. Prayer times are calculated on your device from your location, so they continue to work offline.
